Wie geht es weiter – EFA und ELF Cheerleader?

Düsseldorf 21.09.2025 - mf. Von den 16 European League of Football Teams Teams erklärten 11 ihren Ausstieg zur kommenden Saison unter dem Dach der neugegründeten "EFA" - European Football Alliance. Welche Auswirkungen, hat das auf die Cheerleader Programme der Football Clubs? Im ersten Augenschein erstmal keine, die Vorbereitungen für die ersten
Cheerleader Castings 2026 laufen bereits.

Hier die Cheerleader Casting Calls der ELF Teams:
Cologne Centurions Cheerleaders - noch nicht veröffentlicht;
Munich Ravens Blackwings Cheerteam - noch nicht veröffentlicht;

Die weitere Kernfrage ist, die noch geklärt werden muß, dürfen die Football Clubs der EFA die Namensrechte weiterhin benutzen? Desweiteren sind auch bisher nur 2 Cheerleader Teamnamen rechtlich geschützt u.a. der Cheerleader Teamname von Rhein Fire "Pyromaniacs" als registrierte Wortmarke, die Verwertung läuft u.a. als Unterhaltung für sportliche und kulturelle Aktivitäten. Der Inhaber der Wortmarke ist laut Markenregister die NFL Properties LLC.

Der 2. Teamname "Galaxy Dancers" ist ebenfalls eine registrierte und geschützte Wortmarke. Hier hat sich die Frankfurt Galaxy bereits 2021 die Rechte gesichert, Inhaber ist die B.G.A. Football Betriebs GmbH der Frankfurt Galaxy.

Dance Coach - Nancy Põlluste

Nancy has been dancing for over 20 years, and her journey has taken her across Estonia, Los Angeles, and Denmark as both a performer and teacher. She started as a cheerleader for a basketball team for three years. From there, she built a career performing in shows, music videos, and live events, working as a backup dancer, choreographer, and performer.

She has collaborated with international artists like Coldplay, PharPhar, Sandra Hussein, Atypisk, and Annella. Beyond performing, Nancy has also choreographed and hosted events for major companies such as DSB, Danske Bank, Telenor, TV2, and more.

Now, she runs a dance studio for women, focusing on performance, confidence, and attitude—helping dancers express themselves boldly and powerfully. Before stepping fully into the dance industry full time, Nancy worked as an event specialist and marketing manager.

Cheerleading Coordinator - Devin Lockman

With nearly 20 years of experience in cheerleading, Devin Lockman brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the Nordic Storm Cheerleading team. As a former collegiate cheerleader at East Carolina University (North Carolina, USA), Devin competed at NCA College Nationals in Daytona, achieving national rankings each year. Beyond college, Devin performed with multiple All-Star Cheerleading teams across North Carolina, earning prestigious titles, including National Champion.

Outside of Nordic Storm, Devin works as an Associate Scientist at Novo Nordisk and serves as a Senior Coed Premier coach at Copenhagen Cheerleading, developing top-tier athletes.

As Cheerleading Coordinator, Devin is responsible for managing the success, well-being, and structure of the cheerleading team, ensuring that every Game Day experience is fun, engaging, and unforgettable—bringing fans back for more!
